A – 8 TEAMS; AA – 5 TEAMS; AAA-27 TEAMS
(SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT WITH A 3RD & 4TH PLACE CONSOLATION IN AAA)

SUNDAY, OCTOBER

AAA - 9 A.M.
METHOD OF SEEDING
A – A maximum of
nine (9) teams will be selected and seeded by the steering committee based on a
team’s interest in participating in the tournament and a team’s league and
overall records and strength of schedule.
AA – A maximum of
five (5) teams will be selected and seeded by the steering committee based on a
team’s interest in participating in the tournament and a team’s league and
over-all records and strength of schedule.
The top three (3)seeded teams will receive a Bye in the first round of
play.
AAA – A maximum of
twenty-seven (27) teams will be selected and seeded by the steering committee
based on a team’s interest in participating in the tournament and a team’s
league and over-all records and strength of schedule. The to five (5) seeded teams will receive a BYE in the first
round of play.
General seeding
guidelines for Boys A, AA, AAA classifications:
-
A lower place team in a League cannot be seeded
higher than a team that finishes higher in that same League.
-
Where possible, teams from the same League should
not play each other in a first round game.
-
A team’s past success or winning tradition in
playoff competition should not be considered in selecting or seeding a team
over another team that has a better record in that season.
Uniforms: The higher seeded team will wear white
(light colored uniforms) throughout the tournament and be considered the Home
Team, Visitors will wear dark colored uniforms.
